Framed and ready
There's a special feeling when a drawing goes into a frame. Suddenly it isn't practice any more.
The warrior in charcoal: sword out, beard and turban cloth blowing back, every fold of the clothes and the armour drawn in.
And the old man, with deep lines on his face, a soft beard and smoke drifting up past him. Most of this drawing is shadow, and the light just picks out what matters.
Both are from the advanced batch, done in charcoal and pencil, and both are framed and ready to go home.
Know someone who'd like to learn this?
