Hanuman ji, in acrylic
A painting of my own this time: Hanuman ji, acrylic on canvas.
He is calm here. Eyes closed, head bowed a little, lost in prayer. The strength is still there in the shoulders and the jaw, but the face is quiet.
The background is "राम राम" written over and over in gold, going round him in circles on a deep blue. From a distance it reads as a glow; come close and you can read every word.
The crown, the earrings and the necklace are gold too, with tiny raised dots along the edges.
The tilak, the orange of the face and the white of the fur are where the light is. Everything else stays dark so they can shine.
Know someone who'd like to learn this?
